Laura Winkles
Co-Founder
Texas native raised in a family business developed my natural social engagement with the local community. Served in the aviation industry 30+ years working often with special needs customers and international cultures. Also, a degreed Interior Designer working in that field for over 40 years. It’s delightful to transform something old into a fresh welcoming atmosphere that brings comfort to those living or working there. Co-hosted 9 foreign exchange students along with her husband, Dewey. This is one of our most cherished accomplishments with sharing our great nation to other cultures, so they better understand our lifestyles and ways of thinking. We gain much from their cultures as well and have retained deep bonds with our boys and their families. To be able to use all our tapestry of life experiences now with our joint company assisting clients to overcome problem properties is our mission. We believe in 2nd chances and finding positive outcomes.
Dewey Winkles
Co-Founder
Raised in Georgia, became a Texan when obtaining his master’s in microbiology/chemistry in Abilene, TX. Engaged in the education system and as a lab tech until retiring last year. Married Laura and now eager to assist people to find a better way out of difficult housing situations, acting as a liaison for problem properties with solutions for the client’s best outcome. He’s resolution minded and is generous with his time and talents at church. Dewey is a lover of all animals. He uses his scientific mind to create specialized water fountains and feeders for all the critters that traverse our rural property. His nickname is Dr. Doolittle. He has a kind and gentle soul.
